Trump Account help and customer service
We are not the government, and we are not your account provider.
TrumpAccounts.com is an independent guide to the federal Trump Accounts program, from the team behind SavingForCollege.com. We do not hold your account, we cannot look up your balance, and we cannot reset your login. If you came here looking for Trump Account customer service, the sections below match your situation to the people who can actually help.
Opening or accessing an account for a newborn
The Social Security Administration has begun folding Trump Account creation into the hospital paperwork parents already complete for a newborn's Social Security number (the Enumeration at Birth program), per our reporting. If your hospital has adopted the updated form, the account can exist before you ever open the Trump Accounts app.
Once an account exists – whether it was created at the hospital or you filed Form 4547 yourself – it is held by the custodian and provider named in your paperwork or in the Trump Accounts app: Bank of New York Mellon, Treasury's financial agent, and Robinhood, the brokerage and initial trustee, per our reporting. Check there first for balance, activation, or login questions.
If your child was born before your hospital adopted this process, or you are opening an account for an older child, Form 4547 through TrumpAccounts.gov remains the way to open an account outside the hospital pathway, per our reporting on account activation.
Tax rules and eligibility
Eligibility rules, the $1,000 federal seed deposit, and Form 4547 itself are handled by the IRS and U.S. Treasury, not by us. Start with irs.gov (search "Trump Accounts" or "Form 4547") or the official program site, trumpaccounts.gov. If you have already filed and are waiting on a deposit or have a question about your specific filing, the IRS and Treasury are the only parties who can look at your case.
An employer contribution
Employer contributions are set up and administered by your employer through their own payroll or benefits provider, not by us and not by the federal program. If a match or contribution has not shown up, or you have a question about how your employer's program works, contact your employer's HR or benefits team first – they can tell you which provider they use and how contributions post to your account.
A state or nonprofit program
States, nonprofits, and companies have announced their own separate contribution programs for Trump Accounts – these are run by the sponsoring organization, not by TrumpAccounts.com or the federal program. Look up the specific program in our employer tracker or state and nonprofit tracker to find the sponsor's own source, then contact that sponsor directly with questions about their program's rules or your status.
Questions about this site's information, or a correction
If something on TrumpAccounts.com looks outdated or wrong, or you have a question about how we describe a program, use our Contact page or email corrections@trumpaccounts.com with what you saw and where.
While you are here: our Match & Bonus Finder shows employer, state, and nonprofit programs you may be eligible for, based on your state, employer, and your child's birth year. It does not ask for anything sensitive – no Social Security number, no income, no account information.
